Another interesting way in which to partake life in Germany is through the Newberry Library in partnership with the Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbuttel Fellowship. This fellowship allows for either short or long term study. The project students work on will be connecting collections from both libraries in the U.S. and Wolfenbuttel, Germany. The award is 1,050 Euro monthly plus a travel stipend of 600 Euro ($1479/$845 USD). NSEP Language Flagstaff Fellowship has graduate study abroad scholarships in the form of a fellowship. As long as students have finished their undergraduate degree and have experience in the corresponding foreign language then they can apply for study in one of the several Graduate Flagship Programs.
